DESCRIPTION & USE
Bio-Systems B704 is a highly specialized combination of bacterial cultures specifically selected and adapted for ecologically maintaining aquaculture ponds or lakes for fish and shrimp farming.
The major metabolic nitrogenous waste product of fish and shrimp is ammonia. This product is very toxic to marine life. In fish or shrimp farming, the ammonium waste excreted is extremely high due to large population in the pond, which in turn end up killing them. Bio-Systems B704 contains specific microorganism for rapid removal of ammonia through active nitrification. These nitrifying bacteria first convert the ammonia to nitrite and then to a non-toxic end product, nitrate. Bio-Systems B704 is also used to prevent algae bloom by competing with it for available nutrients at the same time maintaining the presence of important phytoplankton at equilibrium.
In addition, Bio-Systems B704 will also digest organic matter such as feed waste and faeces, thus reducing the BOD, TSS, oil and grease level, etc. It is proven to be very effective in eliminating fouled odor, improve settlebility of biological solids, remove and prevent foaming, therefore enhances water clarity and restoring the aesthetic quality of water bodies. Bio-Systems B704 is harmless to pipes, equipments, humans, birds, marine and plant life, thereby providing a save biological control which is completely compatible with maintaining a natural ecological balance.
